Thomas Proenza grew up in Duluth, Georgia before moving to Atlanta to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology. After four years of teaching math in the metro Atlanta area, he attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he graduated third in his class in May 2026. Always an advocate, Thomas participated in his school’s moot court program, both as a competitor and as a coach, and interned for two summers at the Dekalb County Public Defender, assisting in the representation of people accused of both misdemeanors and felonies. 

Today, Thomas is a fierce advocate for his clients in Henry County. In his free time, Thomas is an outgoing person who enjoys listening to music and socializing with his friends.
