Kyya Johnson, Attorney

Kyya Johnson is a native of Douglas, GA. She developed a passion for criminal defense law as a teenager and has carried that passion with her since then.

After high school, she attended the University of Georgia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice.

Kyya went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. During her time in law school, she spent a year interning with the Georgia Innocence Project and two years as a law clerk for a personal injury attorney. She also received the Pro Bono Program Award, which is awarded to the student who has completed the most pro bono service hours.

After law school, Kyya began her professional career at Lister, Holt & Dennis.

In her free time, Kyya enjoys attending concerts, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring all that Atlanta has to offer.
